Just thinking the same thing, looking as a cheaper replacement for an f-one acid. Can't even sus that much information about it, is it full wake style or just a freestyle orientated board. Sorry to hijack but wanting to know the overall consensus about SS pad/straps ?!

Yes I like it very much I have a demo 138 &134,Ive been using the 138 with boots.

It is oriented toward wakeboard shape with a little more rocker through the board, channels and a new type of rail/channel called a Chined Plane Rail, prevents spray back to the rider and smooths turns/maneuverability,

Nice flex softens hard landings, footstraps have a new type of foam in them are super comfy, we have a demo / ride day tour coming your way soon stay tuned and you can try one first hand

Thanks board crazy
Does this board feel slow because of the extra rocker it has and channels the full length on the board?

The rocker increase is very slight less than the darkside a tiny bit more than the misfit you wont feel its slower, what I found most notable was how smooth it feels underfoot when riding.

Really keen to buy the asylum, just bought some slingy boots. However, I am a lighter rider and thought the 134 might be too big. Can you let me know the weight of the board. Thanks very much.

You less then 50kg? Otherwise you'll be right, it's wake style much less area in contact with the surface.

yea i would say if your <65kgs go the 134, 65-75kgs go the 138 and the 141 if your bigger than that. theres kinda not really any disadvantage of going for a bigger board

I have only looked at pictures, although that rocker looks more like my wakeboard than a kiteboard. How does this affect low end performance? Any guys in the 95kg plus category had a go?

I ride a 2010 135 lunacy which I dont mind, was just seeing what else is out there for this summer.

I would have thought a 141 is getting big as a kite board, I prefer more of a freestyle type of riding than wakestyle specific. ie with straps, unhooked stuff with a bit more variety though; boosts, loops, and just mucking about with stuff you see in movies!

Anybody able to provide an opinnion?

Hi Kiting,

your right there is alittle more rocker than some of our other boards but it is not that significant that its going to hurt you at the low end. Although the board is oriented toward wake board desighn it will apeal to the whole spectrum of riders as it comes with straps and largeish fins its quite flexi wide at each end but not stiff like a true wakeboard. If you were a full blown wakestyle rider you may consider customising the board with smaller fins or remove them completely if you were to ride it with boots. I had a 90 Kg + guy demo a 134 and had absolutely no issue with it bogging down (25- 30 knots 6mtr RPM) in any way I personally am about 5'6- 5'7 and about 75 kg. I have been using the 138 for a couple of months (with boots) and absolutely love it and wouldnt consider going smaller but that is my preference and everyone has there own preferences.

Hope that helps

I rode the 134 at the demo on Sunday, it was so light wind and I was on the 17m turbine, I grabbed the board having no idea it was a wakestyle board, went out did a few tricks and felt smoothly powered despite the wind and board speed was good. Ended up down the beach a couple hundred meters and got back upwind in 2tacks.

I'm pretty surprised how it went being way to small for me, the pop was good for that wind. Because I didn't realise it was a wakestyle board I just thought it was a nice flat freestyle board but poped awesome.
There is absolutly no idea I could of ridden the cabrinha custom in those conditions.

Going the the cotton tree demo on this Sunday to try it again as I need a new board. Hopefully some wind
