Anyone got experience with this board? I've got the 132-41 monk and looking for something a bit wider for when it's a bit lighter 15-17 to practise new tricks.
love and keeping the monk, just wondering if it's worth bothering with the bigger board?
cheers

Have one. . . Great board but depending on your size and kite size might be too big. I'm at the bigger end of body size so I use the board with a 17m from 14kn to 20 +. It's a great board

I would think a board with less rocker than ur monk and around the 138-142 and 40/42 wide would suffice with the powerful edge. . . Ur a light weight at 88kegs
Remembering the king gee is quite wide at 50cm

I use one for light wind. The 146x46 version. From 10knts up to 16knts with a 14.5m flite kite.
I weigh 68kgs.
Its a quite flexi board, so great for ones knees. and hard landings.
Very versatile. Holds the edge well even up to 20knts.
A little spray at times. Not as dry as my monk 135x44.
Definitely my session saver for those light wind days.

Hi Ste
Have a 2013 Shin King George 146x46.
Excellent light wind board.
Pretty flat rocker line but nice flex for jumps or tricks.I am 98kgs so it suits me say in 10-15kts with say a 14m or 17m .
Had the 150x 50 King Gee but find the 146x46 more suitable.
It goes that well I can't justify a current model Yet!!:))
Love my shin boards.

Really wide boards are hard to ride toeside. No isses on 44 wide shinn, can't do it on 46.5 wide 153 long North Spike (I am 100 kg). So much of the board is above the water that it is hard to balance on your toes.
