Very interesting board, but it looks like it is just way to limited to what you can do on it to be really successful. With the standard foot straps it can only be ridden one way(toeside back). there is no small fins on the front like a mutant so you cant ride it backwards. It doesn't look overly large so wouldn't suite real light winds. And if it was any good in the surf Mark would have had some footage of it.
I agree it would be a awesome board for a down winder in flat water not chop, and it looks like it would work well for going fast, not a full speed world record pace but fast enough for a local kiter. I also think it would suit someone that just wants to go out and ride with style not pushing the mainstreem tricks but again somewhere that it is flat.
Depending on price, i could see a few riders getting one just for the odd muck around session like you have on a skimboard. I wonder if they will come in bigger sizes for the big guys
