Yes probably been asked before
Looking for a new seat harness with good lower back support and comfort any info would be appreciated .

Hi Brian,

This topic was done not so long ago. The readers digest version is there are two contenders, the ION Radar and the DaKine Fusion. I think the ION was the better choice from durability point of view and most people thought both were comfortable.

I personally use the Radar and rate it highly. I used to use the Fusions many many moons ago and as a sponsored rider used to go through a couple of them a year, but I did ride a lot. FWIW.

Ok cheers yes i had a fusion years ago i thought you could not get them anymore

Dakine Nitrous shorts with a Dynabar is a great combo. Comfortable and good on your back. Great in the surf!!

Dakine vega 2018 with dynabar also great....cant go wrong with either.

Been on the Vega for approx 4 years now, great if you like to ride powered up, lightweight but very supportive, did around 50/60 big boosts over last couple of nights and doesn't budge an inch, a bit restrictive toeside riding but that's covered with a different sliding spreader

Side note. If back support is what you are after looking at hard shell harnesses might be also worthwhile.

Mystic also make a big seat harness with plenty support for the lower back
