I also got the 08 Rise but I am thinking of getting a 12m ERA as a light wind kite.
I can use my rise bar with the ERA.

Bought an 8m ERA and used it a lot at Coronation last Summer. Rock stable yet incredibly fast. Arguable a bit too fast for down-the-line waveriding, but otherwise a real treat to fly. Definitly not an entry level kite. Keen to get a 10 or 12 for less windy days. The bag does not suit my needs (cycling). Would much prefer a backpack.
