Last years and this years kites are 2:1,
Stop press, I'm having a brain fart, I thought the topic said Rev not Revolver. Revolvers were 2:1, there will not be an 09 Revolver.
Its a nice kite straight out of the bag no need to mess with it

Hibbo I have set both my revolvers (9m and 12m) on 1:1 setting as to avoid bar pressure (I'm a wimp).

I have read that the 2:1 turns the kite faster and supposedly gives it better bottom end.
-As you know it comes out of the bag as 2:1.

I find that the 1:1 works well for me in the surf, and when you fully depower the kite, you don't even feel it there when you're surfing a wave, which is great because you don't get pulled off your rail.
I have only just got these kites (08's) and haven't been bothered with messing around with them in regards to ratio settings.
If you like less bar pressure- go the 1:1.
I have ridden/demoed a few kites and have found these to be fantastic wave kites.
Hope my dribble helped.

I have been riding a 12 and 9 for a year now, and i recon 1:1 for sure.. best thing is you can turn the kite both ways with only one hand on the bar which is a bit harder when in 2:1.
