Can anyone give me a comparison between the 2015 and 2014 reo (yes different years I know) I'm looking for an 8m and have spotted a couple any advice appreciated ??

I have a 2014 eight meter and a 2015 10 meter and the difference is insignificant, not noticeable. The big change came between the 2013 and 2014 models, change in size and power .

Can't go wrong with either- both were great kites those 2 yrs and have been ever since!

If Had a choice I would go 2015 better material d2 and also better in high end 2014 was 1st kite with improved low end power but I found it unstable in high end

I found with the cats and reos in their upper ranges they needed little backline slack( ie shorten them up a notch under the floats)
Gave a better bar feel and stopped that fluttering as the canopy was tauggt

That's interesting I have a 2014 10m and its solid as a rock but mb our definition of upper wind range differs WA to NSW. For me they fly like a couple of other kites I've owned and tried but drift is way better and all other attributes are there as well so I'm keen to add an 8 and a 12 and sell my other kites .They suit the way I want to ride and to buy new is pricey while great deals are to be had on 14 and 15 models. From 2014 to 15 there was little overall difference, but as vendevours said Ozone shifted to D2 cloth in the 2015 V3 Reos, so durability went up a notch with the V3 model. I actually preferred the 2014 over the 2015 for stability and relaunch.
The latest version is a big improvement over those earlier versions, but in saying that, they have always been my favourite ozone model for pure waveriding.

Anyone tried the new Ozone ISiS? I've heard it's the next best thing to the one pump system. It blows itself up.
