I have one but can't answer any of your questions. Just took it out for the first time. The rear lines felt a little long to me, until the wind filled in. I just had a kite in 8-11kn (reading up high at the lighthouse 300m above sea level) less on the beach. Was flukey offshore and current working against me. There were no whitecaps. No other kite I have ridden could have got me out the back and able to surf a wave. I think the kite has loads of potential but I feel I haven't got the kite tuned perfectly yet.
Cons.
-Tiny inflation valve compared to ozone and cabrinha that require heaps more effort. Time to hand pump two minutes thirty with a breather.
-Pump looks cheap
-When pumped hard still has some fold/wobble in canopy due to tiny struts.
- Requires a two year advanced course in origami to get it back in the bag
-Some hard bits on bar ends; no plastic coating on centre line through bar
Pros.
-IT GOT ME OUT THERE
-It is an advanced, nearly concept design with the strut and canopy shape that works as a very efficient wing. Very different to anything I have owned in the past.
-Bar pressure, turning and drift were all fine considering strength of wind
-It's a big kite that works with a surfboard
I'll know more when I ride it more and fine tune it.
