I may be bi-st, since we are the official dealer of Ozone in Brisbane North.
We received the Ozone Instinct Light, Sport and Edge a few weeks ago and had a few chances to put em in the Air. The result was face-lifting. I have to say coming from a C Kite, flying the Instinct improved my kiting by a happy few nudges. I am not much of a tech freak so i leave that for someone else. What really impressed me was that this kites are sooo ezy to fly. I love the minimal Bar pressure and the steadiness of the kites. Simple and easy. Instead of my normal one hour sessions, i now am able to stay on the water for 3 hours and play n'boost, instead of fighting with my kite. But as i said, don't believe the Hype, test drive one of this Baby's with us up here in Scarborough, Redcliffe.

I know queens beach is a very difficult beach to kite on it is for experts only, very small launch area and is very dangerous if you get it wrong launching your kite, lots of nasty rocks and things and the wind drops out on you leaving you in the **** if you go to far north..and sharks! Can you arrange to come to brighton to test??

No problemo,

just give me a call and we arrange a testride at Brighton.

0422 045 638.

Anyhow, this weekend i head up the coast to the Coolum Kite Festival.

Queens Beach is not a beginners Beach, you are right, i wouldn't call it dangerous but, any experienced rider can have good fun here.
And sharks, man, they live in the ocean..., our playground, bigger chance to get hit by a car if you cross the road than been nibbled up by Jaws.

Mars I agree, I am relatively new to the sport and just changed from a 13m Fuel to a 13m Ozone Sport. I love the kite easy to use, light bar pressure, good relaunch and my ability improved a lot quicker on the Sport.
It is a little slow to turn in lightish winds/slow boardspeed (back lines appear slack, with manufacturers settings) but as wind and board speed increases, the bridal changes the kite's dynamics (dont know how) and it is significantly more responsive.
It has a good solid construction, the only thing I think needs improving is the quick release. The velcro sleeve and pin are not as easy to use as the Slingshot or Liquid Force releases and some other 2007/8 Kites.
Definitely worth a test fly if you can.
