Just wondering if anyone's tried the new Enduro and what there thoughts are???

I have 11m V3 and have tried 7m and 9m V3s. I can compare these to my 9m Enduro V2 and my 7m Switchblade - I do not find major differences between V2 and V3, both are the best kites I have flown so far. The 11m V3 feels amazing compared to my 10m Switchblade and Contra 13m - far more direct and responsive, zero backstall, fast turning, predictable and low powered loops. I am really happy with it to replace the 10m Switchie.
As for the direct comparison Enduro V3 7m vs Switchblade 7m - they both are great kites, it is hard to say one is better. The Enduro is faster, lighter, more playful and needs to be actively flown. While Switchie is more "park & ride" kite, jumps are loftier, loops are slower and way more powered.
The V3 features an improved, higher volume one pump system, which so far is better than the V2's one pump - you can deflate the kite faster and easier as the hose connections between LE and struts do not get twisted and jammed. Material is triple ripstop(both canopy and dacron), there is patch on the canopy over the inflate valve, that protects it from abrasion(similar to Duotone, etc.).
All in all - same great Enduro feeling, slight improvements here and there. Have yet to see how all holds up long term.

I've flown my 10M demo twice now up here in Lennox. First session was unperpowered but noticed it was more stable and had a more powerful turn, this was in the freeride setting. I've got an 11m and 14M V2 Enduro and a quiver of Reo V5's, Alphas 8/14 and Edge V10 11m, Zephyr V6, I'm the Ozone distributor.
Next session was a powered downwinder. I put the kite on the surf/wave setting, no depower but was on the limit. The kite is not a Reo, but damn its close for drifting, turns are a bit wider but still fine for waves, slightly higher bar pressure than a 10m Reo, slightly longer depower throw too. Canopy has less flutter when turning onto a wave and flying the kite across the window. Overall the kite feels more responsive and reactive, smoother than V2 and flies quicker. I prefer not to ride the 11m V2 in waves as I find it too slow compared to my 10 or 12 Reos. My 14M is the biggest kite I tend to use on a surfboard and am very keen to get hold of a 14M V3 demo.
One pump system was overdue for an upgrade and this one is excellent, very well engineered high flow valves that do not kink when inflating or deflating. Ozone has managed to make the holes for the one pump valves the same as all previous kites and there are plans to release a one pump upgrade kit for all previous models.
Canopy cloth is triple ripstop by Teijin and the leading edge material is also a triple ripstop and also from Teijin. Ozone is claiming the canopy and leading edge materials are stronger and stiffer which I think is quite noticeable.
Bag is lightweight with a mesh section to allow the kite to dry and not sweat inside a humid kite bag, similar backpack design with bar holder on one side and pump on the other.
I'm actually thinking to sell my Reo V5 10m and use the Enduro V3 10 to fill that hole in my quiver.
The 10m weighed in brand new at 2.67kgs

Has anyone flown both the Enduro and the North Reach? Two do- it- all kites with quite different wingtip shapes. Especially curious about par pressure comparison. Thanks.

Just picked up and tried my Enduro V3 11m today, its a beast! Fast, stable, light (good drift, really hard to hindenberg), and a good umpf when you need it!

Good to hear you liked it @WhiteofHeart! :) I personally was amazed how good did the 11m V3 felt when flying it. I had few sessions with it that I can rate as best for me this past season. Currently I am not sure if I don't like it better than my 9m V2! :)

Yeah I've used the 14 V3 several times and only just sold off the V2 I'd had for a couple of years. The 14m will match up nicely with an 11m and you will gain at least 5 knots more low end (more if you combine with a LW TT), can be used for foiling too but your 11m might be better?

Yeah I've used the 14 V3 several times and only just sold off the V2 I'd had for a couple of years. The 14m will match up nicely with an 11m and you will gain at least 5 knots more low end (more if you combine with a LW TT), can be used for foiling too but your 11m might be better?

For foil I use the 11m, its awesome, but I have to say I haven't tried much else, currently I use 8m Catalyst V2 with the foil in the days I aim to be using the 14m enduro V3, but I share the foilkit with a mate and dont always have it with me ;). The 11m enduro is way better for the foil than the catalyst though (and I feel I could use smaller on the foil in 12-15 knots), on the wave/foil setting the enduro has so much drift & it also doesnt build up too much power when looping the kite to keep the jibes very controlable. My foildays with 11m are mostly 8 in the lulls upto 12ish in the gusts, which I think is a nice low-end. Below 8 knots in the lulls I feel its too risky, I dont like being stranded in open sea ;).

Sorry to bud in on the Enduro review but having had a v1 Enduro 14 and recently changed to Roam 14m Aluula you should try the Roam. I changed both my 12 & 14 m enduros for Roams and except for loss of some hangtime all other aspects are better in my opinion. Still share the rest of enduro quiver (6/7/8/9/10) with my wife and don't xpect to change mainly because of potential repair difficulties of the allula material when we travel to the DR & Brasil. For bigger kites it looks like allula will lead the way for a while. I'm 90kg and the Roams generate all the power needed and the inertia difference is striking. From my feeling the Roam 14 turns as fast or faster than the 12m enduro v1 did and looping is way easyer. Sweet spot on the 14m for me is 12-16 knt on a TT you could well use a 12m the sweet spot for me is 14-18 kts.

I think you are misunderstanding the concept of Aluula fabric. It is incredibly strong. All the rip tests the did were impressive to say the least. I think it's more the cost factor for many people at this point. It will be interesting to see how the fabric ages, and how long it takes before it stretches and loses it's shape.

I also ride a 10m enduro v3 coming from an v1.

The best improvement for me is the gust handling, something that maybe in Astralia you can't notice, but riding mysekf between north spain and Leucate i France, where the tramuntana winds are fairly punushing, there us a niticeabke improvement in that characteristic.

For instance, I was never really comfortable kitelooping my 10m v1 in the upper range, where with the v3 is a joy to do, improving my kitelooping a lot.

There's no argument that the Aluula cloth has greater tensile strength, but its just as easily cut by anything sharp, we have seen the results of kites hitting rocks and it shredded just like dacron. The main advantage is weight and then its tensile strength (although that needs to be carefully used by the designer). I think it will be a big advantage in building larger kites (14m and up) that have better low wind performance than the same kite made with any of the latest Dacron cloths.
Yes seeing how it ages will be important. Ease of repair will be an issue as well, but they have that covered in Australia with Adam's Kite Repairs.

But this thread is about the Enduro V3 and its an excellent kite made from the highest quality and latest versions of cloth from Teijin.that costs significantly less than any Aluula kite and for many people they will not be able to justify the extra cost.

I have been riding the v3 8&9m these days and compared to the v2 that i have used intensively over rhe last 2 years I find them a bit more powerfull, a bit slower to turn and a bit heavyer on the bar. In short potentially a bit better for freeriding & jumping but not as sweet for wave riding. As i am presently in a wave spot I would say I prefered the v2 except for the new larger tubes and valves. Love the bridal adjustment option.
