The new Ozone Edge is a nice step up from the 2013 models. I have ridden the 6,8,10,13,17,19 sizes.
All sizes feel great and have got a bit more grunt compared to the 2013 models.

Also, the D2 ripstop and the cleaner canopy profile outline makes the kite fly tighter and more precise, especially when moving it aggressively through the wind window. Steering response and bar feel is great.

Maybe the added dacron and material in the wingtips help with this? Personally the stand out sizes are the 8m and 10m, but there are also big improvements to the big sizes, i.e. 17 and 19.

The 8m boosts a lot easier and more controllable compared to the 7m 2013 Edge, which is a bit scary to boost especially in gusty conditions letting the kiter drop at times. On the raceboard it feels very powerful compared to the 2013 7m and has a much bigger range without losing its snappy feel and steering.
The 10m is solid and just a sweet all-round size. I use it for boosting/ freestyle and racing in up to 20knts. The 19m has become even more powerful and is definitely the most powerful inflatable kite I have ever flown.

Here is some more feedback from Jalen and myself racing the new Edges a few days ago.

+1

What winds do you think the 19m would be best in Marv? And do you recommend these kites for normal freestyle riding or just for pure racing?

Cheers

Hi Robbie, basically the 19m has more power but the same depower.Better angle upwind and more speed downwind especially in lower winds. The 8m has lot more grunt than the 2013 7m. Id place it closer to the 9m 2013 Edge power wise. The loops on 8m feel quite a lot slower than 7m tho when it nukes.

I have a 2012 9m that gets me going at 14kn and tops out at around 32kn. What size would you recommend in the 2014 range?

It could be 8 or 9M, but I think if you want that 14/15 knot bottom end it has to be the 9M

I have some new edge love!..... But since i'm a second hand whore my love is a couple of years out of date.
I've just replaced my 7 strut 13m for a 2012 5 strut... Whoot whoot.

And a 2013 10m just found its way into the back of my ute too....

Yeha!

Sorry it doesn't help your search for 2014 edge info. But i'm stoked.
