Hi! I just had quite good demo session on 5'4 North Whip at Long Reef. Have 77kg, 187cm. Would you recommend a larger one? According to North website, I should. I would not mind half inch wider, but do not like much volume. Wish could demo Vanguard for comparison...

I think you will be sweet on the 5'4" I am the same height and almost the same weight and I ride the Slingshot Screamer in the 5'4" size. volume matters, but not so much when riding this board as I usually only ride it in 20knt + so the 17 1/2 width works well.
