Has anyone tried or using the North Transformer harness?

If so, any feedback re comfort/support/general feel etc.

Also trying to find a sizing chart.

Just picked up one about 3 weeks ago ironically. The one I have (2011) came in the most terrible bright colors including bright green leg straps and any chance I have of picking up women on the beach would require me to virtually be a Lenton like insane kitelooper to counter it. Fortunately I'm married so this keeps me safe from temptation (along with my lack of Lenton's skills)

The "look at me, I'm luminous" colors aside (I think the 2012 has a better selection of more sedate colours), it's actually a really good harness. Very comfy. My major reason for looking at it was an issue with harnesses riding up. Normal waists are either too tight for comfort or end up shifting up in jumps. With this harness it's actually a conventional North waist harness with straps so the straps don't pull much at all, and when they do, it's only to hold the harness in position for short periods of time. The only issue I found was trying to get hold of a store with stock. I only ended up finding one store with a 2011 in stock, hence the resultant horrible coloured one I have.

Not sure about sizing. I have a medium for a 34 waist.

Medium for a 34" waist sounds a bit small for 2011 as they were a very small fit.
Normally if your unsure of fit and can find one locally I would suggest just supplying your waist size and have the store choose size for you. Thats what we do for our regional customers with no local shop.

Tend to agree. The waist is fine but the legs are pretty tight but if I wasn't a scrawny bastard it would be a major problem.
