Wanted some info on the performance of the Jamie pro 128, from anyone who has one, has ridden one or had one.

Cheers.

I'm gonna get howled down...I just know it...but

2 mates and I demoed one last week for a few days.

We call it the Jaime Slug. We even took the fins off to try and liven it up a bit - but no - still a slug.

I have mates who ride these and swear by them - but I just dont get it???

Its probably down to riding style. All of us who disliked it, like riding fast & finless. We like reasonable rocker & concave and thiiin edges.

Check out the cardboards as a cheaper alternative maybe?

Plow there you go again on the Finless thing.

My M8 board seems to travel faster across water when we are together on water, is plusher and more comfy, and maybe it's the pop that gets higher jumps.

Or maybe with a hat like yours, the sky is trying to keep you away.

Hey - I wasnt on the Jaime at all that day - I was riding my mates home-made "Cuttlefish" - a 132cm 1.1kg weapon.

Next time you want to compare board speeds, give me a heads-up & I will then show you what it can do

Higher jumps - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - I think we need to get Bondo to adjudicate there - jumps are always higher in the eye of the jumpee....In the afternoon, we started to get some thermally effects over the weed banks - I rolled a smoke waiting to come down from one of them

Oh - and Bondo reckoned your board was a slug too - but we didnt try taking the fins off....I had the angle grinder ready to go as well...

That "Cuttlefish" would cut a fish or two in half.

that arvo sess seemed to coincide with a bald headed guy sitting in his Landy with aircon on.

So how can someone be in two places at the same time?

I TOLD you that board was FAST

I only had the air-con on as Bondo was too soft to deal with the heat

Did you see him kiting in the arvo with a borrowed hat????!!!!

I reckon I am starting a new trend here...(amongst the old farts anyway)...buy shares in fluoro hat companies.

Bondo's hat was a particularly trendy color.

so therefore did not rate a mention.

Unfortunately having the hat pulled so tightly onto his scone highlighted the equally unfortunate shape of that particular bean.

To further exagerate this spectical, he would insist on sticking his bum out and yell "poo stance" over and over.

It seems that such a person so intent on Highjacking our personal sense of reality, should not be in a position to take other hijackers to task.

Cheers for the tip bro.....I am going to howl on you though.
I just bought one but will not be able to ride it for a month or 2
(injury rehab). I gotta say though that just about anything would have to be faster than my last board.....the 128 LF element. Man that thing was a dog! I dont hit slidders though.....maybe thats where it excels. I wanted something short and wide and with more pop.....from what I've heard and seen of the jamie its all that. I guess I'll just have to see.

No probs - as I said, my mates ride them & rate them high.

Different strokes for different folks...if we all liked the same things life would be boring.
