Hi All,

has anyone used both of these board? if so what is the preferred and why?

I'm going to demo them but am interested in what others have to say on the above.

Not rode the latest nhp, but the old 666 if it's as good or better than the bronq it'll be a great purchase, since having a good demo on the bronq my beloved monk feels a bit ordinary, as quality goes they're made at the same factory, unsure of your conditions but IMHO the bronq is suited to more aggressive conditions and rider, the bronq is a step up cost wise but well worth it , the nobile boards a more popular in Europe so getting a review might be more easily found there

Quite a big difference in bottom shape and stiffness.
The Bronq runs a single concave and has considerably more flex than the NHP.
The NHP has a quad channeled bottom and carries more stiffness in the centre of the board.

They are really aimed at different riders with the NHP being a freestyle board with a good combination of pop and comfort.
The Bronq is a bit more freeride with simpler lines, butter smooth flex and larger fins.

So what board would be better for riding in chop, beaches/waves, carving turns and boosting? i demo'd the Bronq the other day and loved it!!

still need to ride the NHP again.

We haven't ridden the Shinn boards since they split from Nobile but we have always been Nobile stockist. The new NHP is available in regular and carbon. We have only had the carbon out so far but it handles chop really well. The rocker line work nicely in surf, chop and white water and we have ridden it in the open beaches here and loved it. We have found the fifty/50 has a great feel in waves so also a good option to consider. Rail to rail both the NHP and fifty/50 are smooth with good control.

Not sure where you would demo in NSW but there are two dealers in QLD - Briskites and ourselves.
