As far as I understood the new ozone bar was supposed to coming out in September (as a late adjunct to the release of the REO). Here we are on the cusp of Sept and I for one have not seen or heard a thing. And I've looked everywhere on the net. Anyone got any info or pics? I've been thinking of getting a C4 but was waiting for the new bar. Is it coming? Is it worth waiting for?

Hi Edhead,

The last I heard (about a week ago) was that the new bar was going to be released at the Ozone Dealers meeting in Kiwi land in October.

I don't know if it is going to be early or late October but they were being held up by a component or two which goes in the chickenloop. No one is more frustrated than the guys at Ozone, or us dealers, or of course our customers.

I am assured it is well worth the wait so I'm trying to exercise my best patience and chillax for another 4 weeks.

Steve from Kitepower will most likely add to this thread if there is more updates or latest breaking news, but the fact of the matter is no one has seen the bar in final production guise.

And so we wait ......

Hi, I'd just add that the current Ozone bar works very well. Simple, comfortable, durable and functional.

While I'm expecting the new bar to take these qualities to a new level, and with some added innovations, I'm more than happy with the current setup. Whether you choose to wait would be more about what gear you currently have and if it will last until the new stuff comes out. Rumour is that new C4s will be out at roughly the same time as the new bar.

Choosing between 2011 and 2012 C4s and bars is about as good as first-world problems get, I have to say!
