Weather: 14-25 knots
Build Quality: 9/10
Satisfaction: 10/10
Disclosure: Team Rider for Onboard Surf

Having ridden switchblades for the past 3 seasons I was initially a little worried changing the style of kite I rode, but this was all for nothing. I first took the Chaos out in approx 14-16 knots with a skim board (I am not a small bloke) to see what the bottom end is like, an while it isn't as grunty as the switchy, by working the kite I was able to generate enough power to comfortably ride around and have a laugh.
Later in the day a change in location and increased wind, approx 19knots+, and I was pleasantly surprised at the ease in which this kite handles stronger winds. Unhooking is a breeze, used to the arm ripping sensation of the switchblade as soon as you unhook, this kite gives just the right amount of pull, easily throwing a couple of raley's. I also believe that the slack you can generate will also lend itself to the hardcore freestyles wanting to throw massive passes, somethig I dream about

I believe that while it's not a kite that lends itself to someone wanting to cruise around on and now the lawn, if you want something that will give you that buzz you had when you stuck your first
backroll, something you have to fly instead of parking in the sky, I would recommend this kite.
