dude you would probably be better off on a 14 or 15m ozone light or sport ay, maybe 14 sport.. smaller than 17 so you can turn it faster and it flies forward better generating good aparant wind? ive ridden one in 14 knots and been powered on the 14m ozone light

14 knots is an epic day up here!... i usually ride a vapor 14M, but if ozone are putting their efforts into a specialised light wind kite, i'm pretty keen to check it out.
you mob have just got it waaay too good in WA, so all the darwin crew have decided on a lightning raid in November[}:)]
cya then!

@Hedges
I ride regularly with a guy that has a 14M Dos, the Light is virtually identical, but can get upwind a bit easier and turns easier and a bit faster, both are good low wind kites. Light relaunches easier and better. Light costs a lot less.

@T One
Yes it is true, there is a 17M special Light wind kite coming, its just being put through final testing, along with the new C kites from Ozone.
As soon as I have info or a demo I'll let you know here.
I do have a 14M LightII, last years kite, going super cheap. Its very similar to 2090 model same bottom end, complete with kite, bar and lines and inner bag only, PM me for details.

2090.
Ok, development cycles for kites are now officially ridiculous!

Doh, mean to type 2008
I agree that releasing 2010 model kites in July 2090 is ridiculous though, at least Ozone bring out their kites at the beggining of each year, not halfway through the previous year.
Some of their kites will be moving to a 2 year development cycle too and hopefully they all will, so dumb to make a few incremental changes and then release a "new" kite each year, which is what the entire industry is addicted too.
