I have a Dynabar which I use with the pivoting hook. The NP one looks nice but it only pivots left to right. The Dynabar pivot also pivots up and down which really helps to stop the spreader bar rotating upward.

Good point,,,,,but I have never had an issue with the spreader bar pulling upwards, it prolly does happen but I don't notice it.

I like the fact that the NP hook springs back to the centre. How do u go unhooking with ur setup?

I dont do any unhooking at all and the setup I have would be completely useless for that. The NP looks like it might be ok for unhooking as it would have a definite
return/centralizing action
