I was thinking abt 2008 Eclipse Nano 4m (couldn't find the 6m) for my high wind kite, but it seems that Bandit Dos might be a really nice kite for waves???

The Dos is supposed to have much smoother power when looping and depower should be very linear - at least that's what I heard compared to the 2008 Bandit.

But, has anyone ridden these 5.5 and 7m versions to say something about them. What is the windrange (parking the kite in the low end?) for them with a surfboard, mostly strapless 6'2". I'm looking for a kite which can handle winds of 20-45 knots with ease and has a very good gust absorption. Should I go 5.5 or 7m and is 5.5 "too" fast to be comfortable as usually super small kites are really tricky ones to handle? And what's the top end of the 7meter?

You would get the top end out of the 7m but the 5.5 would probably be mor what you are after for surf in high winds even when these kites are in the top end you can still park them hit the brakes and ride at a comforlable speed. i ride my surfboard and 8m dos in 14kts so you should be fine on the 5.5m in 20 to 45 all reports back on the 5.5 say they are great surf kites stable and fast when you need them to be.
