Hey!

Trying to decide between a 10.5 and a 12M Cult.....What are the suggested wind ranges for each approx.? What about line size? They all come with 20M lines now?

Im 70KG on a 130cm board.....any suggestions would be great!!

click on this link and scroll down and read JB post in regards to kites sizes and weight.

I am close to 90kg wet and I have gone a 9 and 12 combo , the cults come with 20 mtr lines and you can get 4 mtr extensions if you want.I ride the 131 thorn and 5,5 fish.

If you ride waves dont bother getting the extensions but if you ride flat water then it might be worth your while.

Hi Twostep,

As dan said, I did a pretty big break down at that link, you have to scroll down a bit, but I think it's pretty close. I and copied the 70 kg bit...

<70kg rider, cruiser. 10.5m CULT & 7.5m CULT.
<70kg rider, Freestyle. 12m ALLIANCE & 8m ALLiANCE
<70kg rider, Waves. 10.5m CULT & 7.5m CULT
<70kg rider, boosting. 12m CULT & 7.5m CULT
<70kg rider, everything. All SIGMA's

I find the bottom end of the SULT amazing, so you can get away with riding a size smaller in many instances.

I personally have 13.5, 10.5 and 7.5, and I'm 95 kg.

Line extensions will give you a bigger power stroke by extending your power zone, but I do not find that I need it, some of the jumps I got yesterday on the 7.5m Cult would prove that. But they can make it easier.

At 70 kg, 10.5 will would be fine in most condition, unless you live in a light wind area or are only into boosting, then go 12m.

I have found all of the Sigma kites to be great jumpers. I think I jump the highest on the Aliance (probably because I'm a C rider) but the Helix and Cult have it on hang and float.
