Is anyone riding with these at the moment and do you find that you get a good amount of flotation out of them?

I know and wholly accept it's promoted as specifically NOT a PFD, but in practice does it still do the general trick of providing you a fair bit of extra flotation when you drop the kite in the water? (at least enough to more than offset the weight of your harness dragging you down)

ie. Is it a substantial or barely noticeable flotation difference in having it on.

I've always ridden with a seat harness and jetpilot vest (the ones that slide up around your neck every time your harness rides up till you start looking like you've spent the session shaving with a ped egg) but presently considering the switch to a waist harness, hence looking at this option.

My wife uses this with her waist harness, gives her so much confidence due to the added float, if you are slightly nervous in the water give it a go.
