They are not great at going upwind (low aspect) but they do, and they relaunch as good as any 5 line C kite.
Overall they are actually pretty good kites. Very good for unhooked stuff and very easy to control in gusts, quite smooth and easy to fly overall. Limited depower though only about a 6-8 inch throw on the bar. Not all that great for boosting but for wakestyle and freestyle (looping) they won't hold you back. Similar to a 2006 Naish Torch.
Yeah mate for a cheap C kite you cant go past the M80's... Just watch they havnt been thrashed by kids or the surf before...
If you get to look at it before you buy, check the seams on the struts about a meter from the leading edge, the stiches coming loose is the first sign of a dieing M80..
