Liquid Force Kiteboarding 2008 has released the 1st ever 3D molded toe piece with lace up tightening system. The Liquid Force Comp StrapI 1st saw & had a ride with the Comp Straps whilst in WA earlier this year. Even though it was a short session I was super surprised at how comfy and snug fitting they are.
I've had my own set for several weeks now and let’s just say I will never go back.
The lace up system on the comp strap allows the strap to adjust from a US Size 4-14...No Joke! A few pros who ride for another company who have size 14 feet could not believe it they find most straps do not fit but the LF Comp Straps do. I have the opposite problem with most straps and have for years cut the straps down to fit my feet and also used heal bungee to keep my feet in to large a strap. Well that now a thing of the past....My feet no longer slip out, they are super comfy and well worth the upgrade.
RRP $149.00 a pair
Or upgrade your straps when buying a 2008 Liquid Force board for an additional $60
I've posted some photos for you in the photo section. Please contact your nearest Liquid Force Retailer to check them out....We offer demos on the Gold Coast for anyone interested.

Is that price for just the strap or the pad as well?

That would be for straps only, the whole kit with pads and handle will be $249 retail. Expensive maybe but these straps are like no other !!

Hmmm...me thinks I might demo this one. If its anything like the old ones, it may be worth a look.

When are they going to be available?

kindof looks like a flow binding for a kitboard. What extra weight does it add?

looks like a good idea. Where does the string go once you have pulled it? i'd be a bit concerned about having a major stack and getting a finger/toe/ear caught in the string and getting left behind.

The comp straps will have the lace latch similar to the ones on Liquid Force wake bindings. This secures the laces out of the way of toes, feet, ankles or whatever else might find its way. The ones shown in the photo section do not have the lace latch as they are protos but we have since converted them to the lace latch. Also the 1st pair we saw had shorter laces to prevent them getting in the way.
Since they have been converted to reflect the production comp strap they have been perfect.
