Considering putting in for a set of new boots for my core bolt 2. Have had a range in the past but still looking for the right one. Never know what santa might bring.

Slingshot this year reckon their boots are lighter. Anyone with a 2018 and 2017 set able to put a figure on how much lighter they got? Really digged the stiffness and locked feel of the gummy straps last year but they were sooo heavy.

Anyone got a newer pair of ronix and can comment on how well they last with the new design?

Hey bro. The rads are definitely lighter then last year. Mainly in the hardware and some in the boot itself.
Very stiff and ridged.

I'll pull the scales out and see what the difference is on paper

Did you end up weighing the rads? How much different between 2017/2018 models or even compared to other brands?

My other question would be how do the 2018 ktvs compare to rads for weight if someone has tried both...

Rads are noticeably lighter then KTV. They both have there benefits.
