I just bought one of these for an over seas trip. It's got a small detachable zip bag inside.. doesn't seem big enough for a harness or for a bar.. Anyone know what it's for? Wetsuit maybe?

Could be for a toolkit and fins (a lot of people remove fins when travelling)

it's for your fins and screws etc .
