Thanks Charl dv !!
I know how to fly a kite but that trimming ain't my core comptence, especially not as I am new to 5th lines C kites etc.
How do you generally know if your 5th is a bit to short?
when turning the kite would pivot off the 5th line, so its kind of just spinning in the air and not doing big arcs through the turns, when its right the kite turns more off the wing tip and has a lot more power in the turns.
also you'd find that the kite has random crazy forward speed and makes it feel over powered all the time but when you unhook and pop you dont go as big as you'd expect too. and you struggle to go up wind for some reason too.
basically sums it up, the 5th should hang with a bit of sag on it so its not completely under tension (kind of like how your back lines hang when you fully depower)
