I have been chilling in Tahiti for the last monrth with my new Havoc 08, 12m.
In short the kite feels like a refined version of the 07!
The new scalloped wing tips make the kite exceedingly consistent in its power delivery and responsiveness hooked and unhooked, and absolutely rock solid in the sky.

I have taken the kite out in a range of wind conditions from supper consistent cross on to super gusty cross off, both in waves and flat water and everything in-between, the kite has taken everything I have thrown at it. For the most part I have been riding in strong wind, 25+ knots overpowered, there is a noticeably extended wind range compared to the 07 probably due to the new bridal and slightly higher aspect. I was comfortable unhooking and trying to huck new tricks up and till around 25 knots and am by no means a big guy. Beyond this I stayed hooked in and crused around boosting…the kite can jump and seems to have dramatically more lift than the 07.

I consider myself a bit of a fish out of water in big waves however the constancy of the havoc defiantly got me out of a few hairy situations I managed to get myself into. Relaunch is effortless and I had no hint of a problem with inversions in any of the conditions I took the kite out in, and I was dropping it A LOT!

Bar wise everything is as I like it, super simple and clean and the stainless steel chicken loop section is a very welcome inclusion. Build quality looks rock solid without a doubt the most attention to detail thus far.

Feel free to ask me any questions, and get out there and demo one!
I cant wait to get on the smaller sizes!

Had a great session on the 12 today, consistent 15kts at Sandgate for 2-3 hours. The 08 Havoc is definitely a lot more steadier.

This is the only one we have so far but will have samples next week and should have some better shots then. Stock will be available late October. All 2008 waist harnesses arrived, including the chicks harnesses.
