Check PeterC's website, he's logged like, every session he's ever been on...

But to be honest, why not buy a gps garmin watch (6,000 series is the best, I believe) and you can use it for all sorts of things and I think they're waterproof (please check the box first!).

I have been using a Garmin 310xt for about a year. It's fully waterproof and has no rubber bungs that could let water in. Wrist mounting is handy and you can customise the display to show what you want. It's easy to upload the the tracklog up too. 910xt is a later model but doesn't offer much more features

When I do down winders I take my iphone in one of those $10 double sealed bags. I run the run keeper program which tracks your path, measures km marks etc. plus if you bust something or the wind drops its handy to be able to make a phone call.

Kim sells them, I think they are called a water wallet or something similar. Am not out yet, reckon another week or so. Am improving but after last weekend 10 minute kiting resulting in a week of pain I want to nail it properly!

You getting plenty down your way? Kim and a few others at Horrocks this weekend so ill be on the camera!

Okay will get oner from kim next time I'm up. Was gonna head up but I don't think I have a enough kite!!! Lol!! Looks insane. Not for GPS but for downwinders and the ability to call. Good idea we get to some pretty isolated spots even down here.

Yeh man get it right buddy. See ya soon enough.

It's good too have a phone for comms, can be very handy. Just make sure you have a double waterproof bag setup. They often develop leaks with use. Check regularly. Drowning an expensive phone sucks.
