I am looking for a new board, i am a uni student so i do not have very much cash to spend on a new board otherwise i would be looking at something more like a Underground FLX.

Has anyone used a Find Turbo Carbon? From the pictures i like the design i am just not sure how much flex the board has and what the upwind perfomace will be like.

It looks good, but cant say i have ever seen one. For the price it could be worth getting to try it out, but you never know what the quality is going to be like.

If you don't need a new board and are looking for something that is proven, it may be better to look for a demo board from last year, or even a run out priced board. For around $500-$600 there are a lot of boards on the buy and sell section of this site, if you get a second hand board and don't like it you don't seem to loose much, if any money when you sell it. Haggle a bit when buying a second hand board most people have some leeway.

I've bought a second hand board before, i was happy with it but I'd also like something new.
At the moment im pushing to even get the cash together to get the Turbo, i might just have to go have a drive and look at it first before i make a commitment.
I'll just have to settle for using my surfboard until the cash arrives

If cash is that tight go for a second hand board that you like.

If you get the new board for $500 and dont like it you may have trouble selling it and would end up dropping $100- $200, to get rid of it.

One of the best boards i have used was the 2009 Nobile 666 NHP. You would probaly find one in good condition for around $500. Or look for a good FLX for the same price.

Boards only stay new until you use them, just like cars. Most people look at new cars but end up getting what they can afford secondhand.

I've ridden one of the Find Riot's and found it to to be a decent board.
The Find Turbo Carbon is apparently a very rigid board so your mileage may vary especially if your riding it in anything other than butter flats. I heard the words 'fast, stiff, and a bit harsh' used to describe it... but that was a second hand review from the person who had the Find Riot.
In terms of build quality, the Find Riot was a very solid board. I was riding it finless and failing at my attempts to pull off butterslides, but it just ate up the abuse i was giving it.
