Any difference in v7 and v8, only need a rope slider.

V7 is welded, V8 is machined.

There are records of weld cracks on V7 used by bigger guys, I guess it is why they decided to for a one piece element on the V8.

A bit pricey for the people just wanting the ring on the sliding rope but now that I have one I won't look back.
