Hi all!!
I am currently riding an older underground flx 128. Which has worked well for me but recently a mate borrowed my board and mentioned that the stance seemed really narrow,
I have the straps out on the widest setting but it made me think maybe I need a longer board.

I am 169cm tall and weigh just on 70kg, I'm starting to do more unhooked stuff and am struggling landing blind sometimes which might be because my board is a bit too small for me?? I have borrowed a 132 Styx which felt big but the foot straps where so huge I couldn't try any tricks... I will try again maybe..

What do you think??

I went from an 08 Underground 128 FLX to a 2010 Nobile NHP 131. It was a massive step up. It holds the same amount of wind as the 128, but it's a slightly bigger board with more rocker. More pop and landings are a lot easier. I weigh about 70kgs as well.

But yeah, you will be surprised what a difference a few inches can make

Riding blind is much harder on a smaller board. You have to have your technique perfect.

I also reckon it's easier to pop with a longer board (especially with a squarer tail).

Definitely go longer if you are into freestyle. I'm 172cm and 71kg and a 135 is perfect.

Great question from a female rider ... answer... yes.
Don't forget width as well, makes a big difference for upwind ability/bottom end power. Less likely to trip the front edge on a 132-135, so def advise it.

Liquid force Luxury/ Stiletto straps are suited to smaller feet, sure there are others out there as well.

Thanks for the feedback!! I might see if i can try a 132... I recently got some Cab sync 'backless bindings' they work really well for me.
