I have just recieved my third board from Darcy for kiting in the waves and they have all been of excellent quality. His reputation as a board shaper is well known in the surfing world as he makes boards for Layne Beachley and Asher Pacey. With his knowledge of surf and tow boards he is now shaping for surfers who kite. He is based on the Gold coast and is definitely worth having a talk to if you are after a new board.

I can vouch for the longevity of Darcy boards. I've got one that is about 31-32 yrs old now. Its a 5'10" twin with an extra, small sized trailing fin. It is what they made in between standard twins and thrusters. I've tried to kite it but rails are a bit thick. I am sure they make better boards for kiting now.
