Been using a 2018 11mt with a five line bar in the last couple of days. It's a mates kite I have borrowed while I repair my old 2016 Rebel. It doesn't change the flying characteristics of the kite at all.
Pros: Flags out better when you pull the safety
Cons: The 5th could possibly wrap around the kite and an extra line to roll out when setting up.

Really, it's just handy that an old 5line bar can be used on the latest 4 line Rebels and that's about it.

It's not loaded. Makes Fck all difference. Except for light wind relaunch and landing.

It's a four line bridled kite with pulleys now. They should have called it a different name. Maybe something like "vague" or "the numpty".

Got myself another 2017 10m rebel in good Nic, happy days.

Cheers thanks for the info.
I just tried it on the hard setting and feedback was much better. Still could be better

With the rebel now rooted and the ozone edge talk of it being faster, I wonder if there will be a resurgence if edge knobheads? (Myself included)
