Who's riding this brand of Kite and what are your thoughts?

Crickets.
I didn't realise they're so obscure.

Had a V2 Stallion surfboard for a few seasons, loved the board. V2 was shaped by the DSD guy I think, though was made by Appletree in Europe badged by BWS (confusing!). Any way V2 would appear to be same as the DSD Droid surfboard. Is there an Australian importer for DSD? or is it direct from Philippines so will get hit with tax/duty import?

I've seen a fair few guys on them over the last 3 years. Sorry, ive not ridden one though. But I can say the guys were all good riders and had good things to say.

DSD now designs for North, (previously BWS, Slingy and Can) so you'd have to say he knows his business.

If you look at the Hyde range of Kites and boards, they are all designed by Dano.

I'm expecting v2 Jinx 8m & 11m and Voodoo 13m kites to arrive from the Philippines factory this Friday. Dano is a successful Aussie designer and Hyde are a serious sail loft, so very excited to get a new quiver from them. I've been on a few brands over many years, but leaned towards Aussie design for predictability of medium aspect delta and affordability. I haven't broken any boards this season, so no justification to get a DSD surfboard yet, but they look and sound good.

These kites and bars are very well constructed and fly as advertised, with great control and drift.Happy days, so I've signed on as an ambassador. I'm based in Coffs, so anyone wanting to try, let me know. I'll post videos rather than give my opinions. Cheers, Mike

I've got a few of them, and gave them to my son-in-law. I liked them, but couldn't sell them when it was time to upgrade, mainly because they aren't a big brand. But they fly really well. The Voodoo is very good for foiling or waves. James Grundy at Konrad in Sydney is the Aussie guy for them.
