I hope your wrong about that charlie. I tried the tribal in 2007 and really wasn't impressed! Wasn't C kite and I reckon the impact was a much better kite from Fone.
I've done some more web searching on crazy fly kites and found some more info here:

I Havn't been able to find any reviews as yet but pretty keen to test these kites out. Need to find someone closer to home (vicco).

Doesn't the Slash look like a Vegas?
I've heard they are made on same factory as North

/ / / Done heaps on internet research Sanjay but haven't found anywhere that suggests crazyfly kites are coming out of the North factory. They may be, but, where did you hear that?
As for them looking like the Vegas, its pretty hard to tell form the pics I've seen. The 5 struts and wingtips look similar, but just guesswork from pics. Besides the vegas is a 5 line setup and the slash is 4 line. Not sure but i think the vegas needs the 5th line to fly correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong).
I currently ride '08 Norths, and have loved them! I am looking for alternatives before replacing my trusty workhorses.
I reckon the only way to decide about any kite is to demo them or at least speak to someone who has ridden them before deciding on any purchase. So i've organised to demo the Crazy Fly Slash through Stonker in Torquay.
Hopefully I will have the kite this weekend (they have to clear customs first). I will take some pics and post a review if I get some wind. Forecast looks good at this stage, hopefully I'll get to loop the 7!! or ride in some waves Either way I will let you know how they go.
cheers

I have seen some footage of the kite CF had last year and the performance looked good. They must have sold well if they have come back this year with a full range. I hope we get to try one out in Whyalla, there is a lot of the same on the water here at the moment cabs, rebels, bandits and best kites so would be a bit of a change.

I couldn't believe how many different boards CF have this year they look sick, some of there sizing is weird but must work. All the carbon fibre looks great.

About North factory: Our local/national importer told me (I'm not Aussie). But he's a real sales guy so don't know how valid it is. But from what I hear the North quality is nothing outstanding anyways. (I own a Vegas 2009)

fattso: I look really forward to that review. What's your riding style and "level" just to understand? Are you e.g. uh freestyler or?

Yep, the boards look awesome in graphics. But i wouldn't - from the description - know if I should take a Bulldozer, pro model or a Raptor?
