I have been waiting for a review on the kite you won at the nationals. Have you been kitting lately? One thing I do know is that in Fehmarn Germany they are our selling and performing the kites you ride now.

i rode the kite yesterday but there wasnt much wind (like 12-13 knots), so i couldnt tell what it was really like. My friend and i just flew it on the beach for a bit before i went out and we really like the bar system and the fifth line system (we realised that you can lock the fifth line in a bit more and it depowers the kite, but can you ride it like that in stronger winds). it relaunches really well and i was staying upwind on the 9m in 12knots but there still wasnt enough to unhook or kiteloop. i am taking out today again with my freind as there sould be (hopefully)closer to 16-17 knots. Sorry i havnt really taken it out before yesterday but i took it down to rosebud last weekend and there was 30knots the whole time so i was overpowered on my 6m but loving it, but apart from that weekend there hasnt really been much wind.

P.S can you give me a description on how to shorten the bar.

The bar does not get physically shorter. You can disconnect the leader lines from the outside of the bar and reconnect them to the inside of it. This will just make the kite turn slower.



There are a couple of guys up here that ride the Riot without the fifth line. Core has just released a new bar system that has the saftey line connected to the start of the front lines. And no fifth line.
