Just wondering if anyone in Perth has last years S Quad? Love the look of them but can't find one to demo.
Cheers,
Steve.

Somebody, but I'm useless so my opinion doesn't really count. Feels good, haven't been in the waves, fast and loose in rail transition, but good hold on rail. But I am really useless so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I rip surfing though so I know how different boards feel. Just crap at kiting. :)

well, someone who's good in the surf can generally pick a good board to kite on in the surf because theyre generally the same board

Whoops, sent that off by mistake. Was gonna say that they don't always crossover too well due to weight and width etc but yeah, someone who surfs too usually has a good eye for shapes...

Yep. Learning to kite, but live around Margaret River and surf three to five times a week for the last 18 years. I like to think I know how a good board feels, even if I haven't had it in the surf - although that is where I want it to finish up. I got the squad cause apparently it can handle the juice which is what I will require. The squad feels good, but it does feel like a quad without that drag from a center fin. Some people like it some dont. I surf all sorts of different board (single fins, twin fins, thrusters and quads) so I enjoy mixing it up.

And thanks again thedrip. Yeah, from the vid's and reviews I've seen, does look like it handles size nicely. Good luck getting up to speed mate, awesome to have good waves to surf AND kite!
