The 7m, 9m and 11m C4s are awesome and I know the 17m Zephyr is a nice ride. Hopefully someone will post a reply for the 15m for you. Having tried a lot of their kites (and endless others), I'm sure you'll be stoked.

Who sells C4's in Perth? Is there a shop or do I have to wait for the pie van full of kites to arrive at pinnaroo in summer?

Have had a 15m C4 since January and haven't had a bad day on it. l got it to replace an 09 Fuel of the same size(my light wind kite) because of the crap relaunch of the fuel and because as soon as you get a little overpowered on the fuel it tends to get a little more interesting than i like. The C4 pulls almost as hard as the fuel but is a more fun kite because of the relaunch and depower, as the ads say "you can go hard or just back off and cruise". l've had both beginners and experianced riders on the kite and haven't had any complaints. The beginner diched the kite more than once and had it relauched in seconds, somthing that wouldn't have happened had he been on the fuel, and the experianced rider l gave it to, who normally flies a 13m fuel, was boosting big aires 10 seconds after leaving the beach and didn't touch sand again for about an hour!

Sounds good. I have tried it in 7m, 11m and 13m.
really good kites. However the 13m was not super grunty for my weight +90kg/200 lbs.
This I consider a 15m instead if i am to get a quiver.

but sometimes the bigger kites are not tested very much compared to the rest of a series and thus sometimes kinda luck (like the big fuels). I just wondered if that was the case with the C4 15 or if it is as good as the other sizes .....

To be honest my considerations go between VaporX, c4 and 2010 Vegas. There is something about those C4's that thrill me! my only concern is the lowend (for my weight) as they do not seem super grunty

Whats your weight Steen?
They do have very similar low end to similar sized kites in other brands, but they need a light touch on the bar, if you know what I mean?
Spoke to Darren last week, he is definitely heading back to Perth this week.
If he does not have one in stock we do and he or Jason and Sonya at Westoz Kiteboarding can order it in for you from us.

Assuming you want the kite to perform for you on your one and only board, which is approx 1.40x41?
And you want it to perform in winds from 13/14 to 20+, then yes the 15M C4 will do that well for someone your weight, on a similarly sized board in those conditions.
The C4's turn really well for their size in the 13 and 15's, much better than anything else I've flown and that makes a big difference to the fun factor, you can actually jump with them, loop them, etc.

I ride a 134x41 freestyle TT. I go on the water to practice unhooked, and my level is uh kiteloops, raleys, Raley2blind (finally passed the bar yesterday !!) and next tricks to learn are proper S-bends and back2blind.

I wanna ride from around 12/13 knots up to well .... 30 knots. Looking for a 3 kite quiver. In the very high winds I don't have to unhook that much so can do with a little bigger kite I guess.
I tried the 13m yesterday in something like 14-15 knots. Good power there. Landed my first R2B yesterday.
How much more lowend (uh) will the 15 m give?
Are you saying that if I like the 13m the 15m won't disappoint me?
Suggestion to 3 kite quiver C4?

The 15 will get you going in the 12-13 windrange and no I don't think it will disappoint you.
If you want a 3 kite quiver with a safe, real, 12-30 knot windrange and practical overlap with a 15M as the light wind kite then the other 2 would have to be 11M and 8M C4's

Hi Guys,

Yep, I'm back ....... worst luck No worries, we have C4s in stock and will be at sale prices. Most sizes and colours in stock.

We have demo's available too. If you are down in Mandurah/Safety Bay way, drop in and see Jason from West Oz. If up in the beautiful, warm windy and laid back north, drop in and talk to Scott from Ningaloo Kiteboarding.
