My Comments: Looking for a new kite and really can't decide been riding airush for 4 years mainly vapors. Looking for a kite that can ride waves but still love a freestyle session and boosting big air. Thinking varial x or rebel but never had chance
to try anything else any suggestions??

Rode and owned both of those kites. Both will boost well. Both will be average in the waves, the rebel better than the VX except if it is onshore when you you a fast across the window kite.

Want boost and excellent in the waves, I'd be looking at the new 2013 catalyst or the bandit 6.

No sure about the catalyst, but for a good cross-over kite that boosts like a machine. I recently had a demo on a B6 and this kite is super smooth fast turning and goes big.

Will try to demo both the b6 and catalyst read a few other reviews got me leaning towards the catalyst thanks for the info!

You said "Best", try the TS. I have an 8m am 10m for demo in Perth.

Bandit rocks in the surf and goes big... Use an 11 for most conditions up to 20-22knts! The bandits drifts back like an angel...

Try out the Best TS. I had an awesome sesh on it at Bells Beach the other day. Drifts down the line and unhooks really well on the wave. Also good enough for handlepass's, my mate Chris has been landing double passes on the TS. The Cabo is a beast in the surf but the TS can do doth freestyle and surf.

The Cabo is a beast in the surf IF the winds cross off and the wave angle is right, otherwise it's too slow, it parks and rides...that's it!
