Not always the cloop or donk dick, if your a regular booster or jumper the harness spreader bar can be the culprit, worth checking

We sorted Jeff with some new bungee and he is a happy camper.

I had the same problem last weekend in 30+ knots doing a downwinder from Dutch Inn to City Beach. Really struggled to reload the chicken loop too and had to swim in after lines were twisted from fluttering kite - bumped the clear red cuff after a bottom turn and next thing the kite is in the water.
Also noticed that my 10m's slider has almost destroyed the mini bridle line. Not happy with the quality on a kite I've had for about a year, seems my old Nemi's were much better made and my 2009 bar is still going strong (as a spare).
Temporarily solved the cuff releasing by tying a knot in the bungee, but still seems REALLY loose - have never punched out either!
