Comments:Just replaced my 08 Waroos (7, 9,11) with Kahoonas V2 7.5 and 9.5
I'm absolutely stoked that these 2 smallish kites now cover me for the
entire wind spectrum that I'd want to be out on the water for. Together with my three boards this is the most compact, comprehensive and pleasing gear scenario I've had since starting out in 2006.
I've had the 7.5 Kahoona out at the Wedge Wave Comp (not a competitor) and Lancelin in very solid wind pushing the low 30. I then tested the 9.5 at the opposite side of the spectrum during the recent light 13-18 light breeze days. In both settings I had a ball!
The Lowdown:- Very stable and predictable flight characteristics. (Clean, simple, ultra safe bar as well)
- Outstanding built quality, four struts only!
-Fastest turner of the Delta shape kites I tried this year
-Bar pressure is just right, you can feel where the kite is without looking
- Upwindability and power: outclassed pretty anything of a similar size on the day that I could see
- The most advantagous
value for money/quality/performance algorithm out there. Silly and uncool to pay more for fashion/branding bullsht. Be yerself, not someone else idea of you! (Sorry

)
One last thing: on these small kites I leave the struts permanently inflated. With only the leading edge to pump I'm always on the water first and never worry about one pump system failures :)
Can't wait to get out on them again. Wohooooo :))))
