This kite gets a great rap from the manufacturer & retailers (like Choice Kitesurfing). Best kite they've ever made, kite of the future etc.

So how come no-one's writing about it, or flying it?

Ive got a 10M Nemi HP.
Although im just a noob, i think its a damn awesome kite.
Sooo much tunability too.

I can confidently say the build quality of these kites are great; especially after the abuse mines been through so far. Its still in mint condition (apart from a few stains on the LE).

Lastly, the guys/girls at Best and there retailers have slapped an extremely appealing price on their gear.

Alot of ppl ride Best Waroo kites where i go, but i see a few other HP's too.

I think the reason you dont hear about the Nemi HP much on here is because of 1 reason,

1- the owners of these kites are always out 'kiting

Bloody unbelievable kite.

I took Posko up on the offer of a demo on Sunday.

Sadly there wasn't enough wind at Woodies at 2:00pm to put the kite through it's paces (or keep it in the air for that matter), but with that caveat I can say that this is one impressive kite.

The kite canopy is very rigid, despite the diameter of the LE being extremely narrow. The material and build quality of the kite and the lines, bar, bag etc. is impeccable. There's a wealth of tuning options too.

Seems like a great product - it should live up to the hype.

I found some reviews at last (below). I'm having a tough time deciding between the Nemi and the Rev

Get used to that - every season Best kits claim to have made the best kite in the universe. This then gets repeated by retailers pushing their product. Its just the way they like to market.

Confidence. Its all about confidence. Most brands on the market state their brand is the best on the market, however most dont like to continually promote it like Best do. There is a reason why they are so confident about their products.

I just put this on another topic but i thought it appropriate when i started reading this topic...... Regards D-man

Its funny how we all have to make sure we tell our peer readers that we are not trying to sell, endorse etc... Other wise we are taken to be bias... the experience I have had is listen to the people that know what they are talking about for advice which is usually the people that are selling the kite as they have the experience and also have a reputation to uphold to sell you something next year when you want your next kite.

Moving on... & I am not a seller... I was out the other day when the wind was very light about 10 maybe, (on the verge of stupid for pumping up our kites) A mate had a Nemesis 12m and I had a 2007 17m Waroo Pro. I was not doing too badly but I was still struggling to stay up wind (in fact I wasn't) as my mate is quite new to the sport he was happy to try to get up and go down wind. He wasn’t having much luck so I asked for a go to try his kite (Nemesis 12) and his short board 138 x 38 or something like that. any way I ended up getting out of the water and had a few runs on the thing, I was impressed that I could get going (with a bit of work) I might add I weigh 108kg's and he weighs about 92kg's. I managed to get a back roll or two in before getting to the beach. Obviously these conditions were not so great (especially because of the Jelly Fish that were so thick in the water you could walk on them like an Alex the Kid game...) but I will say I was impressed that it had enough power & speed to get me going and even a trick or two. I will admit they do need to be pumped up hard in the light winds but what kite doesn't. I hope Best keep up the good work and research, I like the prices nice and low but now we need to pressure the graphic department to pull out some cool designs and colours...
