Decided to start a new thread on this: so I'm looking for a high wind kite to be used with surfboard in mental days.

I have ridden the 10m Dos and all good, but when downlooping it as I'm landing my jump it pulls a lot when the kite starts to go up during the loop. Though this was in very upper limit of the 10m. I have used only c-kites and the pull spike is earlier and a bit different with them.

So now I'm wondering if the 5.5 Dos has similar habits, and Revolt2 should be more mellow, so would that be better choice for my purposes?

Has anyone used the 5.5 Dos to give some feedback on it pls?

Thanks once again!

I would go with a smallsize helix 09 (5m2). Really easy unhooked wave riding and superior wave riding characteristics. I like to watch Robby Naish ripping it in Hawaii, with his red helix. Tried it 2 month's ago i was suprised with the stability and speed it produced. The Sigma shape seems to pay off, finally.

Yeah go with a Naish helix.

5.5 revolt is a lower aspect kite but verry fast. build quality of kite is better than the dos but the bar, lines, bag etc are verry basic. after flying the 5 revolt i would say it would handle the surf better than the dos not as likely to luff out of the sky etc.
