I've been reading very good things about the new Bandits, I lusted after the 08 model but never got around to riding it. Does anybody know who the WA dealers are for F One kites, I can't seem to track them down.

Cheers

The Bandit is a nice kite that's for sure, but do yourself a favour and try the new Rabbit kites from Wainman Hawaii before you make a decision

Well after chasing a demo I managed to spot a 9 metre that a nice girl had on the beach and she kindly offered me a ride, Well I went out and back twice and on the 3rd time knew that I had to have one, It turns fast, has a nice small bar that requires only one hand to operate and this thing boosts huge! with minimum effort, There is pooloads of power and it more than my 10m Rhino that I was riding 5 minutes before. It looks great and not like every single other kite on the beach and I was grateful to be able to ride it for about 45 mins in a 19-22 knot breeze
I was lucky enough to pick up what I believe is one of the last 9 metres in Oz until Jan/Feb and it was the colour I wanted (blue and White). I got it yesterday morning and rode it straight out of the bag with no adjustments.(Sorry to those other 2 guys that called that same shop within 20 minutes of me and missed out)
The only thing I will do is sort out a proper stopper ball so when I let the bar go to flip it after a back roll the kite doesn't completely depower, The existing system will become less effective as the clear tubing over the main line gets worn by the grub screw from the stopper ball.
To that girl on the beach I say thankyou for the offer and that you not only put me right onto the last available 9 metre but saved me making a big mistake getting the 10 instead.
Right now I am as happy as a pig in s**t
