Hey effisk, I feel your pain. I just snapped a north wam pro after about 10 sessions( a grand in the dunny). Is bws covering this under any warranty? I have spoken to a few shop owner who all say the same thing about directional board warranties. If your jumping the board then you have no warranty. I have just got a sunova boss. Hope this lasts a bit longer than my last.
But yet they constantly put photos and videos of their pro riders doing huge jumps on the (supposedly) same board.... I'd say if you advertise your board can do this, then you have to assume that the buyer will try to do the same.
Just take the matter with ACCC and see what the dodgy shop owner say. What the shop guy say is one thing, what the law says is often another one.
You are paying over $1k for a board and you should expect this board to last more than 10 sessions. As Effisk mentioned, HB lafayette, FW vader and the likes can take the beating so why not the North one?
