Hey Guys,

Any reviews on the latest Jekyll, I hear its the dogs bllcks in the surf.

Is the 12m a light wind machine to cart around a 90 odd kg load on a surfboard.

Whats the bar pressure, flying speed and turning like. Does it use a bridle, etc. Does it want to stay in the air when lines are slack.

I want to get rid of my 12m SLE as it does not have much more low end than my 9m but turns alot slower and a bit nose heavy.

Cheers
Rich

Sorry my Apologies,

Should have looked around a bit better

I was going to take a visit to the local shop to see if I could demo one on Saturday but found out today that I have to go away for work tomorrow.

Another time

But it sounds like a great kite, except safety could be an issue.

Hey Rich....had a few more hours on the 12m. Bar pressure is light, turns fast and trucks up wind...doesn't really have that "grunty" feel of the 12m 08 Switch though, so for freestyle I will have to relearn and adjust for the new kite characteristics. The 9m is better for boosting IMO and has same strong upwind features as the 12.

I have rigged a stopper ball on one of the flagging lines on the 12m to make it safer for me.

The pump that comes with the kites is good...pressure gage, leash clip rather than just a hook and they have used rubber hose near where the hose attaches to the inflate valve.

I like the kites most because they are all black and everyone knows that they jump higher.

Nice looking kites, I prefer all black kites aswell.

Can Aussiehome sponsor me a kite, just found out I am not getting a kite but I will admire from afar. I was planning to demo one over the Chrissy break but no point in teasing myself.

Hey Rich, if it were up to me...there would be a black one of these on every beach in Perth Metro........but I think I am dreaming too. Hopefully my 09 blackies will go real cheap next season when I upgrade to the next black.

Hope you get out a bit in this nice wind.
