First off, good on ya for taking the time to do fairly comprehensive reviews on the major wave kites on the market (even if they have now made it even more difficult for me to choose a new quiver haha.)
Second, now it's nearly time to put your money where your mouth is. What will YOU be riding next season?

Haha on the spot you even created a whole new post. I am going to continue to test a few things then I will write a back to back review as a summary. (I have made my mind up BTW and I will explain my reasoning in the review )

Those reviews were an awesome read! Just wish he would've tested each kite in proper wind.
I thought he'd go neo but then he started sweet talking the nexus again.

The NEO is a real contender. Couple of the boys tried it and loved it too

My money is on the nexus. He doesn't sound good enough to get the most out of a proper wave kite such as a neo or reo

Whereabouts in Perth do you need a proper "down the line, hard-core" wave kite!

Careful there laddy... keep it light hearted now. It's all just a bit of banter.

This fella is as honest as they comes when it comes to what he thinks about kites, has been around before you even heard of the sport and would rip you a new one in the water, especially on a dedicated wave kite. That is, he knows his kites better than just about anyone.

Anyhow what ya gonna buy and why?...

the suspense is killing me!!!

Yeh agreed I didn't get on here to deal with negative crap...been there done that....its been great actually doing the reviews because everyone commenting has been super positive and interested. I have actually chosen the Nexus 6m and 8m ...BUT I am kicking myself I didn't go the 7m...while the 6 & 8 are great...The 7m has perfect balance of power and speed. Reminds me a bit of the Old 7.5m Bandit Dos. Might change out next year or something.

Should've went with your gut and got the 7m. Every kite has that size that's the gem, for me an 8m, but it's good you found a kite you gelled with, that's what it's all about.

Yeah don't waste breath on negativity!

But I got to say I think getting 6 and 8 makes a lot of sense for your riding style (downwinders) and weight (solid). You had the 7 out on those reviews and it was always too little wind or borderline. The boys probably had a good reason to make you get those sizes. I think you should give the kites a season at least to form an opinion. Also I think the 6 is a lot more fun than the 7 and the 8 is alright in your 15 knot days you had the 7 on.

Did you take a core bar aswell?

Thanks heaps for your excellent reviews Andre.
There are definitely a great range of excellent wave kites out there.
I can only agree with your choice.
wife and I have been on the nexus for 6mths now including pro bars.
We only just added the 7m to the quiver.
My fave is the 8-9-10m
10m is special for a big guy from moderate to fresh, then the smaller sizes after 18kts.
13.5m is go to for light to moderate.Bit slower but compared to the XR5 we had more reactive tighter turns nice drift.
We bloody love em.
