My Comments:
I was after a shorter board as I find it much easier to control with speed. It also doenst bounce around in the chop.
It has a fair bit of volume all through the board which means it doesnt sink when your not powered. I like the rounded nose as it will prevent it from snapping off.
This board is very agile which to some might mean unstable.
The only downside I have noticed compared to a Converse is it doesnt climb over white wash as easy. This could make it a bit tricky strapless.
hey corey how does the board handle high speed turns and high wind. whats it like in lighter winds. can you give us a bit more detail of the boards overall performance as compared to a 5'10 regular board cheers
The stronger the wind, the better it goes. I was surprised about the low end performance, it still works quite well even if your not fully powered. I think it is because it carries a bit of volume throughout the whole board.
Im only a light weight, but a heavier guy would be right on the 5'6 Im sure.
It would depend more on the fact if you like a more stable board like a chop top or a more performance board like this one.
Being a small board, it loves the high wind. It doesnt bounce or skip out half way through a turn like a bigger board can.
