Hey all,
Returning to kiting after a big hiatus going paragliding and surfing around the US.
I'm mostly going to be chasing waves on my directional and doing some foiling on the side so I'm going to get a quiver of Reo's and potentially a closed-cell foil kite for the larger size (I've used Zephyrs and a couple of single-strut lightwind LEI's in the past, and I think I'd prefer something easier to keep in the air in those lighter winds).

My previous kite quiver was based around twin tip riding so I'm in need of a little guidance on a good range of sizes for my directional and foil.
I'm ~90-95kgs, I ride a fairly flat rocker 25L 5'4 directional, and for foiling my front wing is an AXIS BSC890. Current foil board is a fat 35L board I use for prone foiling, but I'm planning on moving to a more minimal board like a SpecialAgent or Microchip once I shake the dust off.

My initial thoughts are:
6/8/10m or 7/10m Reo for most directional days and medium/stronger days foiling.
& an 11m Hyperlink for those lighter foiling days.

Any opinions welcome!

Can't go wrong with a 6,8,10 combo for surf. I am 10 kilos under you and use my 6 most days on my foil, and a Peak4 5 meter when it's light (10 knots give or take). I also have a 4 Reo when the wind gets into the 20 knot region (super fun). Instead of the Hyperlink I would be inclined to get the Flysurfer Hybrid in a 6 meter range, if you want to be carving around and free riding on the foil. They are super fun kites. They Hyperlink was slow but sure did jump nicely on a twintip and would also be good for straight line foiling.

@75kg- 7 and 10m will have me foiling 12- 20knts and on a directional 15- <35knts. And a 5m wing for 15-20knt days that are poor or unsafe kite conditions.

My mate has a 13m Hyperlink I might try for those super light days

Yeah 6/8/10 or 7/9/11, I switched to the odd number quiver this year no issues for me at 75kg and mostly riding directional in surf.
We have a Chrono 3 UL for sale, big price reduction. Its in very good condition and has better low wind performance than the Hyperlink.

I'm a bit of a chonky boy at 90kg, and I feel like if I get an 11 I'll be overlapping with my 12m Enduro. Many people have said to me in the past that there's not really any benefit in having a wave specific kite in sizes that large so I might just stick with the all-round Enduro at that size and start the Reo quiver at 10m.

As for the Chrono... I've played with a Chrono 2 before and didn't really like it. Reminds me too much of a noodley high aspect paraglider

@dafish I'm interested in your thoughts on the Peak4! A few foilers were using them in Texas and seemed to be having a lot of fun. I'd love to try a single skin for some snow kiting when I head back to the US.
